To be admitted to the BM Music Education program, students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and meet all of the following requirements: * A completed application for admission to the University of the Incarnate Word. * An audition for the music department. * A satisfactory score on the SAT or ACT. * A minimum of 16 units of college-level coursework, including 6 units of English, 3 units of math, 3 units of science, and 3 units of social studies. * A letter of recommendation from a high school teacher or guidance counselor. * An essay on why you want to study music education.
