Application Requirements

The University of Toronto requires that all applicants to the Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering program have a minimum of 90% in Grade 12 English, Mathematics, and Physics. Applicants must also have a minimum of 75% in all other Grade 12 courses. In addition, the university requires that all applicants have a minimum score of 125 on the SAT Reasoning Test or 29 on the ACT. Applicants are also encouraged to submit a portfolio of their work in mechanical engineering. The university will review all applications and make admissions decisions on a competitive basis.
