Admission to the Bachelor of Arts in Sociology requires completion of the following: - British Columbia Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent (including the completion of 10 Grade 12 credits, including English 12, Mathematics 11 or 12, and Social Studies 11 or 12) - A minimum grade point average of 70% in the required courses - A personal profile that demonstrates your interest in sociology and your ability to think critically and communicate effectively - Two letters of reference from teachers or other professionals who can attest to your academic ability and potential for success in university - An interview with a sociology faculty member In addition to the above requirements, applicants who are not Canadian citizens or permanent residents must also demonstrate their ability to meet the costs of studying in Canada.
