Application Requirements

To be admitted to the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education program, applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and meet the following minimum requirements: a GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale, a score of 18 on the ACT or 950 on the SAT, and a portfolio of 12-15 original works of art. Applicants must also submit a personal statement and letters of recommendation from two teachers or other professionals who can attest to their artistic ability and commitment to education. The program is highly competitive, and admission is based on a holistic review of all application materials.
