Application Requirements

Applicants must have completed the HSC or equivalent with a minimum of 50 points, including English (Band 4) and Mathematics (Band 4). Applicants must also have a minimum of 20 points in either History or Economics. Applicants with a WACE must have completed the following subjects: English (EAL), Mathematics, History and Economics. Applicants with an IB Diploma must have achieved a minimum of 24 points, including 6 in English, 6 in Mathematics and 6 in History or Economics. Applicants with a Tertiary Admissions Rank (TAR) of 80 or above are guaranteed entry to the Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy and Economics. Applicants with a TAR between 75 and 79 are eligible for early entry into the course. All applicants are considered on a case-by-case basis.
