Application Requirements

Applicants should have a minimum of five GCSEs at grade A*-C, including English Language, Mathematics and a science subject. Applicants should also have a minimum of two A-levels at grade A*-B, including Mathematics and a science subject. Applicants are also required to have achieved a minimum of 60% in the Mathematics component of the International Baccalaureate Diploma. Applicants who have not achieved the required grades may be considered for the Actuarial Science with Foundation Year programme. This programme provides students with an additional year of study to prepare them for the BSc (Hons) Actuarial Science degree. Students who are not eligible for entry to the BSc (Hons) Actuarial Science degree or the Actuarial Science with Foundation Year programme may be considered for the Actuarial Science with Integrated Foundation Year programme. This programme provides students with two years of study to prepare them for the BSc (Hons) Actuarial Science degree. All applicants are required to have achieved a minimum of 240 UCAS points.
