Overview

University of Stuttgart offers the Development-Related Postgraduate Courses (EPOS) scholarship. Every month, the International Students Office of University of Stuttgart awards scholarships to degree-seeking students who have specified financial needs. Note that a large portion of the scholarship funds come from International student tuition. Development-Related Postgraduate Courses (EPOS) scholarship is applicable for Masters Degree. To be considered for this award, applicants must have a Bachelor degree. Foreign students wishing to apply for this scholarship must take English proficiency exams such as TOEFL and IELTS. For the purpose of receiving the scholarship, students must have job experience. Students must submit the following documentation to be considered for the scholarship: LOR and CV.

Application Process

DAAD application form Personally signed CV (please use the sample europass form at http://europasscedefopeuropaeu/) with the current date Personally signed Letter of Motivation (with reference to current occupation and choice of postgraduate program (s), two pages maximum) with the current date Letter of recommendation from the current employer; the letter must have letterhead, a signature, and official stamp and must be of the current date (not in a sealed envelope) Proof of language abilities: English – TOEFL or IELTS (Note: We only accept an academic TOEFL) German – necessary for the courses taught in German; for the courses taught in English, if available Certificate(s) of Employment from the employer(s) that proof a minimum of two years of relevant working experience (after the bachelor degree) at the time of application and if possible, a guarantee of re-employment from your current employer upon returning home (certified) copies of awarded academic degrees (certified translation if necessary) (certified) copies of academic transcripts (certified translation if necessary) Additional Documents: High school leaving certificate (the last certificate from school before entering university) When applying for more than one postgraduate course (maximum 3 courses), you have to submit one motivation letter explaining why you are applying for these specific courses and why you chose that priority, English – TOEFL or IELTS (Note: We only accept an academic TOEFL) German – necessary for the courses taught in German; for the courses taught in English, if available, High school leaving certificate (the last certificate from school before entering university) When applying for more than one postgraduate course (maximum 3 courses), you have to submit one motivation letter explaining why you are applying for these specific courses and why you chose that priority
