The Marianne J. Kerr Memorial Scholarship was established in 1982 in memory of Marianne J. Kerr shortly after her untimely death at age 40. Marianne J. Kerr was a dedicated fifth grade teacher at Pullen School in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, and spouse of former university attorney, J. David Kerr.
