The candidates should be athletes in the eligible sports Swimming, Archery, Squash, Athletics (track & field, javelin, long jump, triple jump, high jump, pole vault, shot put, discus), Badminton, Bowling (tenpin), Basketball, Cricket (Male only), Chess (International), Hockey (Male only), Fencing, Futsal, Karatedo, Taekwondo (WTF), Netball (Female only), Football, Judo, Rugby (Male only), Volleyball, Table Tennis, Tennis. The students should represent the institution in MASISWA, SUKIPT and IPT games or any other tournaments and should get good grades. The students should also contribute a minimum of 20 hours per year on conducting sports training workshop, clinical work.
