U Of T Engineering International Scholar Award

David Johnston International Student Entrance Scholarship are offered at University of Waterloo to those international students who are pursuing a Bachelors Degree. This is a Merit Based Scholarship, which is provided to only maximum number of students, depending on the University student. David Johnston International Student Entrance Scholarship are valued at CAD 5000 for maximum number of students, depending on the University student who qualify from University of Waterloo. Also, the David Johnston International Student Entrance Scholarship is a one time tuition reducing scholarship, offered in the first year of Bachelors Degree only. Applications for David Johnston International Student Entrance Scholarship at University of Waterloo are filed separately. To be eligible for this scholarship students must have appeared for 12th grade. To be eligible for this award, international students must take English proficiency tests such as TOEFL, IELTS, PTE. Along with the David Johnston International Student Entrance Scholarship application. The eligibility of the students to qualify for David Johnston International Student Entrance Scholarship would solely depend on the applicant’s admission to University of Waterloo Bachelors Degree, his/her aptitude for an overall contribution towards University of Waterloo community and of course the academic achievements.

Rick McCreary, MBA 1997, founded the fund in 2015 to support outstanding candidates who have finished an undergraduate degree in engineering and are enrolling in the Desautels Faculty of Management's MBA programme.

The estate of the late Alvin J. Walker founded this scholarship. Awarded to a student joining the MBA programme on the basis of academic merit.
