PhD stipend within the doctoral programme Civil Engineering in Structural Reliability of Sustainable Materials, open for appointment from April 1, 2026 or soon hereafter./nThe position is at the Department of the Built Environment, Division for Building Technology, Management and Indoor Environment, Research Group for Building Physics, Aalborg University (main campus in Aalborg)./nResearch focus: hygrothermal material characterization of construction materials with low carbon footprints (e.g. biobased or recycled materials), moisture transfer and storage processes in porous materials, moisture sorption in plant cell walls, fungal growth, frost damage, and development of models for moisture transfer and storage including AI/ML and statistical methods./nDuration: three years.
