PhD stipends are allocated to individuals who hold a Master\'s degree.
It is a prerequisite for allocation of the stipend that the candidate will be enrolled as a PhD student at the Technical Doctoral School of IT and Design in accordance with the regulations of Ministerial Order No. 1124 of September 19, 2025 on the PhD Programme at the Universities and Certain Higher Artistic Educational Institutions.

<p>PhD stipend (Stipend no. 1: Universal Design and Immersive Technologies) investigating how immersive XR technologies can support participatory universal design in the adaptive reuse of public welfare buildings, enabling neurodivergent adolescents and architects to co-assess spatial layouts and atmospheres to inform inclusive design decisions and future architectural practice.</p>
<p>Appointment from 1 April 2026 or soon hereafter. Primary workplace: Rendsburggade 14, 9000 Aalborg, or A.C. Meyers Vænge 15, 2450 Copenhagen SV. Part of the Department of Architecture, Design and Media Technology (CREATE) within the Technical Faculty of IT and Design at Aalborg University.</p>
