Overview
Self-funded PhD Opportunity – Armed Conflict & Environment Research (ACER) Programme at Canterbury Christ Church University (UK)./nOur work examines the environmental and human health impacts of war, in close association with the Global Food and Water Security Project at Princeton University (USA)./nThis is a chance to contribute to a major international research programme and collaborate with leading experts working at the intersection of conflict, environment, and public health./nACER is currently engaged in research across more than ten conflict-affected regions worldwide, producing evidence aimed at supporting communities and informing policy./nI welcome applicants from a wide range of academic backgrounds – including environmental science, ecology, agriculture, geography, public health, and related fields – who are interested in exploring issues such as pollution, ecosystem impacts, and food and water security./nPlease note: These positions are for fee-paying students only (no scholarship available)./nTuition fees: £15,500 for international students; £5,000 for UK home students. A small budget is available to support paid Research Assistant work and project-related costs.
