There is no tuition fee; a small semester contribution of EUR 361.90 applies. PhD researchers are employed full-time by CISPA and paid according to the TVöD E13 scale, with salaries starting around EUR 4,000 gross/month (approx. EUR 48,000–50,160 annually), plus health insurance, paid time off, and pension contributions. Estimated PhD duration is 3–4 years.
