Most PhD students are hired as salaried Research Fellows and do not pay tuition. Research Fellows, Industrial PhD Fellows, and 4+4 students are tuition-free; independent (self-funded) PhD students must pay total program fees (DKK 354,000 for 3 years; DKK 364,000 for 4 years; DKK 374,000 for 5 years). Extensions incur DKK 10,000 per extra year. No application fee for PhD applications.
