PhD in Chemistry

PhD position at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), Faculty of Applied Sciences, Storage of Electrochemical Energy group (Radiation Science and Technology department) in Delft, Netherlands. The project is part of the 'No Pressure' OTP project funded by NWO and focuses on developing and improving solid electrolytes for better (electro)chemical stability with silicon anodes (including PCVD 100% silicon anodes of LeydenJar Technologies), and investigating strategies to reduce stack pressure required for cycling using functional interlayers. The researcher will work at the interface of fundamental science and applied technology, using techniques such as EIS, solid-state NMR, FIB-SEM, and various electrochemical methods, and will engage with materials science, electrochemistry and battery technology experts.
