Join Prof. Dr. Stephanie Wehner's group at TU Delft (QuTech) to work on Quantum Technologies and the Quantum Internet./nTwo available PhD positions: Quantum Network Systems and Quantum Network Applications./nQuantum Network Systems: optimize the design of a quantum network operating system for deployment and operation on a real-world quantum network prototype built by the Quantum Internet Alliance (QIA)./nQuantum Network Applications: explore new applications and use cases for quantum networks and engage with academic and/or industrial fields to uncover impactful applications./nLocation: QuTech, Delft University of Technology, Delft, Netherlands./nConditions: Doctoral candidates will be offered a 4-year period of employment (initial 1.5 year contract with go/no go assessment within 15 months, followed by an additional 2.5 year contract). Salary and benefits follow the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities, increasing from €3059 - €3881 gross per month (fulltime), plus 8% holiday allowance and an end-of-year bonus of 8.3%. Enrollment in the TU Delft Graduate School and relocation support available.
