Overview
PhD position in the Computer Engineering (CE) section of the Quantum & Computer Engineering (QCE) department at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), Delft, Netherlands, as part of the SAMURAI national project in collaboration with Philips Medical Systems. The project focuses on AI-based predictive intelligence for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) to reduce scan times and infer optimal sensor/configuration settings. Key objectives include: design of an efficient foundation model (FM) for generalization across patient anatomies, pathologies and coil arrangements; development of system architecture and training strategies for heterogeneous MRI data; techniques to convert partial MRI measurements into inputs for predicting sensor phase configurations and feedback control; integration of MRI physics domain knowledge into learning; and solutions for integration into existing medical procedures.
