PhD in Quantum Mechanics

Two motivated PhD candidates to join the Machado group at TU Delft to conduct theoretical research in quantum science./nResearch topics: Quantum Communication and Distributed Quantum Computation; Quantum Sensing; Quantum Simulation./nPositions are theoretical but closely connected to experimental collaborations within TU Delft and beyond./nLocation: Delft, Netherlands./nDoctoral candidates will be offered a 4-year period of employment (initial 1,5 year contract followed by an additional 2,5 years)./nSalary and benefits in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities, increasing from €3059 - €3881 gross per month (fulltime 38 hours), plus 8% holiday allowance and an end-of-year bonus of 8.3%.
