PhD Position in 6G Non-Terrestrial Communication at Delft University of Technology, Embedded Systems group, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science, Delft, Netherlands./nThis PhD is part of the European Horizon project IoT-ZERO and focuses on Ambient Backscatter for Terrestrial and Non-Terrestrial Networks to enable ultra-low-power IoT devices operating across terrestrial and satellite networks./nResearch will address designing energy-efficient modulation and communication schemes, modeling and analyzing wireless backscatter links in terrestrial and satellite scenarios, investigating intelligent reflection mechanisms, and developing signal processing techniques for time-varying wireless channels./nThe position offers access to SDR platforms, RF measurement equipment, and wireless experimentation facilities and includes collaboration with European partners and supervisors Prof. Arash Asadi and Prof. Przemysław Pawełczak.
