IMPRS application period starts in autumn 2025; applications must be submitted by November 1, 2025. Exceptional candidates may be invited to an online selection symposium in February 2026. No centralized deadlines were found for DZNE standalone PhD programmes (DZNE does not operate a standalone PhD).

PhD opportunities involving DZNE are pursued through partner graduate schools (e.g., BIGS, IMPRS). Applicants are generally expected to hold a Master's degree for PhD admission.
