  • All admitted students receive full funding for 6 years, which includes tuition remission, a competitive annual stipend, health insurance, and conference/research travel support. Funding is provided through fellowships, teaching assistantships, and research assistantships.
  • Applicants must hold a strong undergraduate degree in English or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is advantageous but not required.   • The PhD is typically completed in 6 years of full-time study.
