Fees and Funding
There is no application fee and no tuition fees for PhD students. PhD students are usually employees of EPFL and receive a monthly salary and benefits. International students with a foreign Master's degree pay a registration fee of CHF 150. A CHF 1500 doctoral tax is charged at completion of studies.
