PhD in Cell Biology

Our laboratory at the Institute of Biochemistry, Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), Germany, invites applications for Postdoctoral Researcher or PhD Student positions. The successful candidate will join an exciting research project investigating molecular signaling pathways in myogenesis and at the neuromuscular junction, with a particular focus on the Hippo signaling pathway. The position is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) for a period of up to three years, starting in early 2026. /nResearch Project Overview: This project aims to elucidate the role of molecular signaling pathways in muscle development, regeneration, and NMJ function, with a special focus on the Hippo signaling pathway.
