Fees and Funding
There is no tuition for the doctoral programme; candidates pay a semester fee (~EUR 300) per semester for public transport and Studierendenwerk contributions. Hertie PhD stipends provide EUR 1,450 per month plus up to EUR 200 per month for health insurance. Self-funding is not permitted.
