The PhD project involves constructing a high-resolution multiscale 3D P- and S-wave velocity model of the circum-Adria region using full-waveform inversion techniques. It focuses on tectonic structure and geohazards through the interpretation of seismic datasets. The student will engage in collaboration with leading research groups and present findings at major conferences.
