PhD in Mathematics

The Scientific Computing Centre (SCC) at KIT focuses on developing AI models for Earth System Science and replacing traditional simulations. This involves creating rigorous methods for interpretable AI modeling, testing AI architectures, and optimizing hyperparameters while understanding the mathematical basis behind these processes. Doctoral candidates will work closely with the CSMM research group led by Prof. Dr. Martin Frank.
