Overview
PhD Research Fellow position in "Omics in patients with primary adrenal insufficiency (DC2)" at the Karolinska Institute, Sweden./nThe position is located at the Department of Medicine Solna, Karolinska Institute and Department of Endocrinology, Karolinska University Hospital, Stockholm, Sweden./nFunded by the European Commission through the MSCA Doctoral Network Endotrain (Grant No: 101227148) and coordinated by the University of Bergen, Norway./nDuration: 4 years. Start date: August 2026 at latest./nProject (Work Package 1: Hormone Dynamics) aims to investigate how different replacement therapies affect immune function and metabolism in patients with primary adrenal insufficiency, combining inflammation- and metabolism-related omics, dynamic hormone profiling of cortisol and its metabolites, and data collected from wearable devices, with the objective to define the optimal range of tissue cortisol./nThe position includes interdisciplinary training within the ENDOTRAIN network (workshops, retreats, transferable-skills courses, cohort-wide meetings) and secondments with technical and clinical partners.
