The Stagkourakis Lab at Karolinska Institutet and SciLifeLab in Stockholm is recruiting for a PhD student position in bioimaging./nThe mission is to uncover the neural and neurohormonal mechanisms underlying instinctual and homeostatic behaviors, including aggression, fear, food, and water intake./nThe position will contribute to the development and application of advanced imaging-based approaches to study neural circuit function, spanning cellular to population-level dynamics./nThe lab integrates imaging (two-photon and miniscope), large-scale electrophysiology, genetic and viral circuit tools, and rigorous behavioral paradigms./nLocation: Biomedicum D8, Dept. of Neuroscience, Karolinska Institutet, Solnavägen 9, Solna; SciLifeLab Gamma 5, Tomtebodavägen 23A, Solna.
