PhD position in DNA replication & Cancer Genetics at Karolinska Institutet, hosted in the Science for Life Laboratory (SciLifeLab) in Stockholm (Solna)./nThe Lemmens research group focuses on DNA replication and cancer genetics, aiming to discover how human cells copy DNA, maintain genome stability, and design selective anti-cancer treatments using genetics/CRISPR approaches and advanced imaging methods./nThe doctoral student will be responsible for their own project: planning and performing experiments, analysing results, writing scientific articles, and presenting at scientific meetings. The project will create new human cell models, use protein depletion and CRISPR-based genome modification, and apply advanced imaging and single-cell analysis platforms.
