PhD in Protein Biology

PhD position at Karolinska Institutet, Flemingsberg, Stockholms län, Sweden. The project focuses on the biodistribution and transport of the BRICHOS domain (a biological drug candidate) across the blood–brain barrier, its therapeutic potential against Alzheimer’s disease, and its ability to transport cargo proteins into the brain. The doctoral education corresponds to four years of full-time doctoral education. The doctoral student will be part of a research group with access to preclinical and translational environments at Karolinska Institutet, departments of Medicine Huddinge and Laboratory Medicine. Employment is on a doctoral studentship with contractual salary and benefits.
