The Laboratory for Molecular Neurobiomarker Research (LAMON), led by Prof. Koen Poesen within the Department of Neurosciences at KU Leuven, and the Somers‑Fraussen Lab at UHasselt are jointly hiring a motivated PhD student to carry out a fundamental and translational research project on autoimmune mechanisms in CIDP, a rare peripheral neuropathy./nThe project aims to identify novel autoantibodies using advanced mass spectrometry (MS) and serological antigen selection (SAS), correlate them with clinical phenotype and treatment response, and develop and validate ELISA assays. The project is conducted with Hasselt University and involves collaboration with clinicians from UZ Leuven and UZ Ghent within an international research network. Location: Leuven, Belgium.
