PhD in Survival Analysis

The Mathematical Institute of Leiden University is looking for a PhD candidate in Statistics to join the NWO project “DynoSurv: flexible statistical models for the dynamic prediction of survival outcomes in complex longitudinal studies” under the supervision of dr. Mirko Signorelli. The 4-year PhD position (location: Leiden) focuses on developing new statistical methods and R software for dynamic prediction of time-to-event (survival) outcomes in complex longitudinal studies, including complex survival outcomes such as competing risks and interval censoring. The position is part of the Statistics group at the Mathematical Institute and funded by the Dutch Research Council (NWO).
