PhD in Human Factors And Ergonomics

The School of Design and Creative Arts at Loughborough University invites applicants to undertake PhD study./nSustainability and regenerative design and creative arts challenge designers and artists to move beyond minimising harm toward actively restoring ecological and social systems. This area addresses urgent issues such as climate change, resource depletion, and environmental justice. Key challenges include designing for circular economies, low-carbon futures, collective resilience and community art practices. Projects may span biomimicry, eco-social innovation, participatory design, human factors, creative methods and policy advocacy, with opportunities to collaborate across environmental science, economics, and activism./nLocation: Loughborough.
