PhD in Medical Science Within Surgical Research

The Department of Clinical Sciences, Malmö announces a PhD-student position within the research group for Surgery./nResearch subject: Medical science within surgical research./nThe project investigates whether thyroid hormone metabolism affects survival following breast cancer. Serum samples and tumour tissue will be analysed in several ways and studied in relation to prognosis. The training emphasises study design and statistical analysis./nWork is carried out at the facilities of Lund University and at Skåne University Hospital, Malmö./nThe position is a fixed-term position for a total of four years, 100% with a start date of 2026-02-01 or as agreed.
