PhD in Political Science

The position is a doctoral studentship within the interdisciplinary research project "Power and Polarisation in Swedish Forestry: From Lock-ins to Sustainable Transition" at Lund University and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, led by Professor Fariborz Zelli at the Department of Political Science. The PhD programme consists of 240 credits (four years full-time). The doctoral student will receive a salary from the University for four years, have access to a workspace at the Department of Political Science, and may have departmental duties (e.g., teaching up to 20% of full-time hours). The doctoral studentship will commence on 1 September 2026 and is based in Lund, Skåne län, Sweden.
