Entry Requirements
To be admitted to the Master of Science in Computational Biology program, applicants must have a bachelor's degree in a biological science, mathematics, or computer science. Applicants must also have a strong background in mathematics, statistics, and computer science. In addition, applicants must have a strong research interest in computational biology. The application process includes submitting a statement of purpose, a resume, and three letters of recommendation. Applicants are also required to take the GRE General Test. The GRE Subject Test in Biology is not required, but it is recommended. The application deadline is January 15. The program typically admits 15-20 students each year.
