The Department of Theoretical and Computational Biophysics (Prof. Dr. Helmut Grubmüller) at the Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences invites applications for a PhD Student or Postdoc (f/m/d) in the field of Theory and Methods for Non-equilibrium Theory and Atomistic Simulations of Complex Biomolecules./nPossible projects are variational free energy methods, thermodynamics of solvation shells, constant‑pH simulation methods, Markovian thermodynamics, as well as functional mechanisms of the ribosome, fatty acid synthase, CRISPR/Cas or intrinsically disordered proteins./nLocation: Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences, Department of Theoretical and Computational Biophysics, Am Faßberg 11, 37077 Göttingen, Germany./nGroup language is English. PhD students participate in available PhD programs in collaboration with the University of Göttingen; Postdoc position limited to two years with possibility of extension.
