Bachelor Degree

Minimum GPA

Applicants must have completed a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (preferably in biological or physical sciences), with a minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Applicants are encouraged to have B-average or above in math and science coursework. No specific work experience is required.

There is no application fee. The PhD program is fully funded with tuition waived for appointed students. Graduate student stipend for 2025-2026 is $41,200.
