Applicants must hold or expect to hold by September a master's degree in Economics (exceptional bachelor's holders may be considered). Minimum CGPA 3.0/4.0 (or 3.2/4.0 over the last two years). GRE is required for applicants without a Canadian degree or if a Canadian degree was obtained over three years ago. Minimum course preparation in economics and mathematics is required (intermediate microeconomics and macroeconomics, statistics, calculus, linear algebra).

Application fee: CAD 139.63 (non-refundable). International PhD supplements noted: approximately CAD 534.84 per credit and CAD 8,022.60 per term for Fall 2025; exact total tuition not provided and varies by program and potential funding/tuition waivers.
