Application fee CAD 139.63 (non-refundable; covers up to two program choices). Tuition estimated per year for PhD residency (PhD 1–4) approximately CAD 18,604.80; estimated total annual cost (tuition + fees + insurance) CAD 21,891 for 2025–2026. Post-residency tuition estimated CAD 5,349. McGill guarantees a minimum funding package for PhD students: CAD 46,077 (2025–2026) and approximately CAD 47,937 (2026–2027) for international PhD students; admission may be conditional upon finding a supervisor and securing funding.
