Applicants typically require an honours or major B.A. or B.Sc. in psychology (or an eligible Master's) with a competitive GPA (minimum 3.0/4.0; direct-entry from Bachelor's typically requires 3.5/4.0). Significant undergraduate research experience is strongly recommended but not mandatory.

Application fee noted as $139.63 (Summer and Fall 2026) – non-refundable. International PhD students face per-credit supplements ($534.84 per credit for Fall 2025) and a per-term charge of $8,022.60 (full-time, 15 credits). Many students receive funding/tuition waivers and support via teaching assistantships; international students can apply for scholarships only after admission.
