PhD in Applied Physics

The Industrial Ecology Program (IndEcol), Department of Energy and Process Engineering (EPT), at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) has an opening for a PhD position on Climate Change Mitigation in the Maritime Sector. The position will be part of the broader work within the Norwegian R&D centre for Maritime Energy Transition (FME MarTrans) on climate change mitigation in the transport sector. The objective of the research is to identify mitigation strategies in the interface between the maritime and energy sectors. The selected candidate will join a team of interdisciplinary researchers working on bridging engineering sciences with life cycle assessment and climate sciences.
