Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to join our dynamic research environment at the Department of Clinical and Molecular Medicine (IKOM), Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim./nThe position is for a period of 3 years./nThe PhD candidate will work on a project lead by Dr. Kristin Roseth Aass, researcher on Centre for Myeloma Research in Trondheim./nThe centre brings together researchers and clinicians at NTNU and St. Olav´s University Hospital and do clinical, translational and basic research on the cancer Multiple Myeloma./nThe PhD will focus on understanding the role of the immune environment in the response to immunotherapy (monoclonal antibodies targeting CD38)./nImmune cells from patients will be analyzed using single-cell “multi-omics” sequencing and further characterized by in vitro cell culture assays and flow- or mass- cytometry analyses.
