PhD in Computer Architecture

The Computer Architecture Lab (CAL) at the Department of Computer Science is seeking a PhD candidate in computer architecture as part of the Dependency-Aware Performance Analysis (DAPA) project. The focus of the PhD project is to understand how to account for inter-instruction dependencies to enable instruction-level performance analyses to reason about the impact of potential optimizations./nThe DAPA project is funded by the Research Council of Norway, is affiliated with the Norwegian Center for Intelligent Computers and Electronics (NICE), and runs from January 1, 2026 until the end of 2031./nLocation: Trondheim, Norway (NTNU).
