Overview

We are seeking a PhD candidate in dermatology, sleep, and epidemiology to join the HUNT Center for Molecular and Clinical Epidemiology and the Musculoskeletal health, sleep and physical activity research groups within the Department of Public Health and Nursing at NTNU, Trondheim, Norway./nThe PhD candidate will work in a project where we aim to understand and improve outcomes for inflammatory skin diseases, with a main focus on psoriasis./nThe aim of this PhD project is to investigate the impact of sleep traits and insomnia symptoms on the risk of developing psoriasis, and to explore the potential causal relationships. The study will integrate observational data with available omics datasets – such as genetic data – to enable causal inference analyses within the project period./nThe PhD candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary research environment at the HUNT Center for Molecular and Clinical Epidemiology, and the Musculoskeletal health, sleep and physical activity research groups.
