Overview
The Department of Interdisciplinary Studies of Culture (KULT) at NTNU is announcing a 3-year PhD position as part of the research project Imagining Positive Energy Futures (IPEF, 2026-2030) led by Jennifer Branlat and funded by the Research Council of Norway. The project focuses on understanding local communities' desires from the energy transition in Norway, studying community resistance and vulnerability in Orkland and Hammerfest, and using methods grounded in the social sciences and humanities to produce hopeful, positive imagined futures that can guide the Norwegian energy transition.
