PhD in Paramedic

Palliative care is key in providing optimal holistic care to people with a life-limiting condition. Undergraduate nursing and paramedic students often feel unprepared to provide palliative and end of life care. Co-production will be used to design an educational intervention to engage nursing and paramedic students in palliative simulation. The feasibility of the intervention and study design will be tested in a randomised pilot study and qualitative feedback will be collected to understand participants’ experience and opinions of using the intervention.
