Overview
The Mathematics Department at Radboud University (Nijmegen, Netherlands) is seeking a PhD candidate in the analysis of partial differential equations. As a PhD candidate, you will develop new analytical theories and methods for complex systems of partial differential equations and apply them to models for marine biofilm growth. The project is supervised by Dr Stefanie Sonner, funded by an NWO-M1 project, has a light teaching load (10%), and the PhD position is funded for four years. You will participate in conferences, workshops and seminars and publish in peer-reviewed journals. The position is based at the Applied Mathematics group of the Mathematics Department, Faculty of Science, Radboud University, Nijmegen, Netherlands.
