Cover Letter

You hold, or are working towards, a Master's degree in Mathematics or equivalent
Strong background in numerical analysis and partial differential equations
Experience in scientific computing or programming (e.g., Python)
Good verbal and written communication skills
Motivated, proactive and willing to learn

As a PhD candidate in the Department of Mathematics at Radboud University, you will devise and analyse new methods for wave equations and inverse problems. You will work on developing numerical methods for inverse problems in wave propagation, participate in teaching duties (10%), attend conferences and workshops, and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
